Suffolk’s Isabel Smith selected NWGC Player of the Week

SYRACUSE, NY – Suffolk junior Isabel Smith (Westford, MA) has been selected the Northeast Women's Golf Conference Player of the Week.

The NWGC announced the honor from its office in Syracuse, N.Y., on Wednesday, Sept. 14, for events contested Sept. 5-11.

Smith finished first and led her team to a 341-464 dual-match victory over Westfield State on Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Shaker Farms Country Club in Westfield, Mass. She topped the nine-team field with a seven-over-par 79 on the Par 72, 5900-yard course.
