Glennon Leads Canton at Nazareth Spring Invitational

Rush, NY – Gwendolyn Glennon led the SUNY Canton women's golf teams on Sunday at the Nazareth Spring Invitational at Wild Wood Country Club.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED – WOMEN

• Glennon carded a round of 21-over par, 93, going out in 44 before coming home in 49 to finish in fifth place out of 21 golfers. She recorded three pars and 10 bogeys on her round.
• Raven Murphy finished with a 131 going out in 69 before improving by seven strokes on her back nine. Olivia Drino was the other Canton competitor with a 135 (70-65).
• William Smith's Caroline Gannon earned medalist honors with an 87 edging out SUNY Cobleskill's Alexandria Rockwell.
• SUNY Cobleskill won the team title with 410 strokes just ahead of William Smith (418), Nazareth (428) and Keuka (430). The Roos competed as individuals as four players are needed to record a team score.
